Baby shower games are a great idea at any baby shower, and they are also a useful way for guests who may be from two separate families and numerous friendship groups who never have met before to get to know each other quickly. Baby shower games can also involve gifts of practical use to the expectant parents, such as scavenger hunts to track down a list of baby items that the parents will need.

There are numerous other games that are designed for the expectant parents alone. These games may involve making a ‘baby’ from Play-Doh or baby-themed charades; the choices are entirely open.

Giving prizes for the baby shower games will make them more exciting, and encourage your guests to put more effort into playing them. The prizes can be baby-themed in some way, but religious symbols are not appropriate for many people.

Another popular game is blindfolded testing of baby food. This is a game that can be played in pairs, meaning the expectant parents can play as a team. In this game, one contestant should be blindfolded and spoon-fed different varieties of baby food by his/her partner.

Baby shower games are a great way for a group of people, who will often never have met before, to get together and have fun. They will also generate a lively atmosphere and be more enjoyable for your child guests.
